Tourism in Egypt is subject to strict governmental regulations. We operate exclusively with licensed Class A Egyptian partners who hold full Ministry authorizations, marine safety certifications, and comprehensive passenger insurance.
1. Ministry of Tourism Class A licensure (Egypt)
All ground transport, desert expeditions, and marine cruises in Sharm El Sheikh and South Sinai are executed by our licensed Class A Egyptian partner (Destination Management Company), registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
Class A is the highest tourism license category granted in Egypt, authorizing the operator to manage international guest manifests, provide insured passenger transport, and operate private yacht charters.
2. Chamber of Diving and Watersports (CDWS) accreditation
Every yacht, private speedboat, and snorkeling excursion adheres to the stringent safety guidelines set by the Egyptian Chamber of Diving and Watersports (CDWS).
All guides, dive instructors, and skippers are CDWS-certified and trained in international maritime life-saving protocols, first aid, and marine reef conservation standards.
3. Egyptian Coast Guard and port authority clearance
Every departure from Travco Marina, Sharm El Maya, or Dahab undergoes formal security inspection and maritime security clearance by the Egyptian Coast Guard and South Sinai Tourist Police.
This official clearance ensures that vessels do not exceed legal guest limits, safety equipment is inspected prior to departure, and emergency dispatch services are constantly monitored.
4. Insured passenger vehicles and marine vessels
Our partner vehicle fleet (modern Toyota HiAce with full air conditioning and solar protection glass) and charter boats maintain comprehensive commercial passenger insurance in accordance with Egyptian statutory transport requirements.
