2. Why we collect passport details (Egyptian law)
Under Egyptian maritime and national security regulations, every boat departing Travco Marina or cruising within Ras Mohamed National Park, as well as convoys traveling to Dahab, must submit an Official Coast Guard & Maritime Manifest to the Tourist Police and Coast Guard.
We collect only the strictly necessary fields: full guest name, nationality, passport number, and date of birth. This data is used exclusively to obtain official departure clearance.
3. Automated 14-day data purge
In strict accordance with the GDPR storage limitation principle (Article 5(1)(e)), we do not keep your identification documents on our servers.
An automated cron routine permanently deletes and overwrites all sensitive passport numbers, identification photos, and passenger hashes from our database exactly 14 days after your excursion has concluded.
4. Strict zero third-party marketing policy
We never sell, rent, or trade your phone number, email, or travel details to roadside souvenir vendors, local perfume shops, or external advertising brokers. Your information is shared only with the operational dispatch team and the licensed harbor authority for departure clearance.
5. Essential cookies only
We utilize strictly necessary technical session cookies to keep track of your reservation cart and facilitate secure ticket pass retrieval. We do not place invasive cross-site advertising trackers or third-party behavioral profiling scripts.
6. Your rights under GDPR
